Trust & legal
This summary explains how StateVault thinks about retaining customer state, export packages, usage metadata, security logs, and backups during private beta.
Retention behavior is conservative while StateVault is in private beta. Final customer-specific retention schedules, deletion service levels, and enterprise retention controls remain part of later contract review.
Customer state, vault metadata, context records, and associated artifacts are retained so the customer can use the service, review history, and export data. StateVault does not retain customer data for model-training purposes.
Operational logs, authentication events, action logs, request counts, vault identifiers, billing metadata, and invoice-preview data may be retained for security, support, billing visibility, and abuse prevention. Logs are designed to avoid raw secrets, embeddings, and export contents.
Export packages are created for customer portability and review. Backup artifacts are operational safeguards and do not replace customer exports. Backups may persist briefly after a customer-facing deletion workflow while recovery windows close.
Private-beta customers can request retention clarification, export assistance, or deletion workflow support at info@statevault.ai. StateVault will keep this page updated as retention controls mature.
